On October 27, 2003, the Goodman Brothers gave permission for material to be hosted in the Archive under the following release statement:
October 27th 2003
The Goodman Brothers are pleased to offer many
recordings in their archives (and many thanks for
the donations of other friends) for the listening
pleasure of all interested. All the music is
available for downloading at no cost, with the
exception of the CDs that are still available at
the sites www.billygoodman.com and www.frankgoodman.com.
This includes recordings from the 70s, 80s and 1990s.
The seminal incendiary guitar work of Steve Kimock is
featured throughout. The recordings from the 70s also
feature Duffy Hoffman on drums and multi-instrumentalist
Ralph Liberto. Sister Kelley Goodman (now Falcon) sings backup
on many recordings of this period. Sessions from the
early nineties ("The Nicey Village CD")features the
inspired rhythm section of Bobby Vega on bass and
Jimmy Sanchez on drums.
We hope you enjoy the music, and any

Frank wrote re the archive:
"This sounds very good to me. Very together and charmingly put forth to boot. So, color me in, that release also applies, for my part, to the Live Music Archives. ...I think this whole Live Music Archive thing is pretty amazing, it's a beautiful thing.
thanks,
Frank"
